Quite a bargain!

The restaurant is a beautiful place with a mesmerising atmosphere and welcoming service. The food is delicious and the manager is a friendly chap, who welcomes you with open arms and a smile on his face. The menu's interesting, and not only has indian cuisine, but english too. Quite a bargain is you ask me to!

The Menu looks particularly interesting with an added Speciality and Traditional Cuisine selection. The Restauarant also features in the CapitalOneThankyou promotion. Well worth a visit. Throwley Hotel and Restaurant Inspector Rtr.

A visit to the Royal Spice is always a real pleasure. The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere, and the service is warm and welcoming. The dishes I have tried were all superb in presentation and taste, and the menu has a delightful variety of meals to choose from.I can honestly say this is the best Indian cusine that I have experienced, so it is well worth paying a visit to the Royal Spice.

Royal Spice is situated off of the High Street in Gosport, close to the George and Dragon Pub. They specialize in Indian, Bangladeshi, Oriental and European cuisine, and offer a warm and friendly service. Being tucked away along a side street, we are not sure that the restaraunt gets the custom it deserves.

The manager welcomed us with open arms and a great calming nature. The staff are willing to cater to any requirement, which was handy as a member of the Grub Gang does not enjoy spicy food! However, the limited english options were recieved with a promise that whatever english food was wanted, it would be made!

Gemma chose the setting for this months Grubgang because of the promise of a "full all you can eat menu" as advertised in the window. When asking inside however, the all you can eat menu was limited and did not offer anything for the non spice fans. This was a little dissappointing when comparing to the other all you can eat restaurants the grubgang have encountered.

The food we did have was lovely and within the budget for 2 courses (starter and main...they have no dessert menu!) The naan bread was very sweet and the popadoms dissapeared very quickly. The curry lovers noted how tasty the sauces were, with tender meat which was delicious.

The decor inside was wonderful. It is only a small restaurant, but doesnt clutter the area with too much decoration. The music played was at the right level and within the tone of the setting (nothing like authentic indian music when having a curry!) and of course, we must mention the facilities!! They were clean, well kept and comfortable (big thumbs up from the ladies here!!)

All the gang agree that if they were chosing an Indian restaurant that offers good value, great service and tasty food, the Royal Spice is the perfect choice!

We went to royal spice for a take away. the service was really fast.
It was probably the best take away we had in ages. I had cousins round and they loved it as much as we did so I am really pleased
I recommend royal spice to everyone. I hope you like it as much as I did.
